Moringa History

Moringa oleifera is called “Nebedaye”, which means “never die”, in many African languages. The Moringa plant is native to Northern India, where it was first described around 2000 B.C. as a medicinal herb. The Moringa tree spread eastward form India to the lower parts of China, Southeast Asia and the Philippines. From India it also spread westward to Egypt, the Horn of Africa, around the Mediterranean, and finally to West Indies in America.

Moringa as Antioxidant

Moringa has approximately 46 antioxidants and is one of the most richest sources of natural antioxidants. Similar to Pomegranate and Green tea, Moringa also acts as a powerful source of antioxidant. Unlike the other source of antioxidants Moringa also offer various other Nutrients to the body. Its a well known scientific fact that the antioxi dants work better in combination with other Nutrients. Moringa leaves are rich in Flavonoids, a class of anti-oxidants.
